This sub-module describes the various approaches that have been proven effective in managing conflict, explains the concepts behind principled negotiation towards a win-win solution, recognizes the dirty tricks used in international negotiations shows the scholars how to protect themselves and their agency from these, and successfully engage in a simulation/role play negotiation. This module also discusses the concepts and principles of diplomacy and international relations.
This sub-module will seek to develop the senior executives with perspectives and selected tools towards living out one’s role as a fully functioning person and professional towards enabling oneself to be a peak performer. Engagement with ideas, attitudes, experiences, tools and techniques shall be facilitated to realize effectiveness at the personal, team and organizational levels.
